What is the purpose of the music video?   To advertise a car to make people want to purchase it and to create a new form of audiovisual art. Who is it sponsored by? Chevrolet an American family friendly car brand. Why did Ok GO agree to this? What is their view on music video? They want to make videos to please their virtual audience. Which companies have sponsored OK GO’s work so far? Samsung, Land Rover and State Farm Insurance have all taken part sponsoring OK Go's work so far. How much sponsorship did they receive from the company? There is no official number, however it is somewhere between $5000000 and $1million.  What did the sponsorship buy? A couple of sonic cars and paid to modify one of the cars. The paid to set up the band in warehouse for 2 months and a MIT to set up the instruments. Budget Video Notes Try focus as much on trying to produce your movie the cheapest way possible, wether that is using products you already have or getting your friends and family to take part. Keep your locations to a minimum as travel time will cost a lot of money.  Instead of paying people to be your extras, try use friends and family. The less characters you have the easy and cheaper is will be to manage.  Avoid night scenes as it will be more difficult to film without a professional crew and lights to manage the setting. Its extremely important to location scout to save time filming to make sure in advance there are no issues.  Natural lighting saves a lot of money on lighting and you can easily get away with it as high quality. Take advantage of magic hour around 4/5 am.  Do not use copyright music as it will cost a lot of money, use your own music or music by friends or family.  Through out the years low budget films aren't thriving as much as they use ...
