Evaluating pre production products Why do we evaluate pre production products? Evaluating the effectiveness of pre production documentation is vital in ensuring that the final version that is sent to the production team is effective. If documents aren't checked, they could be the cause of a major planning problem, so it's important that the quality of the documents is evaluated. How to evaluate: The document need to be considered in relation to: -Suitability of content for meeting the brief and usefulness in aiding the production team in producing the product. -Suitability of content for the target audience. Should use: -Positive language -Consider the original creator -Provide specific feedback on and suggested improvements, justifying why it would make the document more effective. Concept Art Zayn Malik- Pillow Talk What is concept art and why is it important? Concept art is the story and where you can visualise it. Its important because without it Zayn wouldn't know what it would be about. Visualisation Diagrams Detailed drawings Shows you exactly what the product looks like, often with annotations to describe the stuff you can't see on the drawing e.g. feel, smell Flat plans Used to demonstrate the layout of the overall products as a whole. Prototypes An example of a cheaper exact copy made in plastic, therefore you can see how it looks/feels. Mock ups Creating a logo then applying it to a variety of different products to then see how it overall looks.

It's extremely important that piece of work that you do has a brief because it keeps you as well as the whole team organised to make sure that they know what they are doing. If somebody doesn't know what they are doing it can lead to them falling behind, which overall means it will put the whole project behind which wastes time. It's important depending on the situation for specialist to be alighted to specific roles. An advantage of this is that it saves time, however if you don't have the money to spend on specialist you can still find somebody else to do it. However, it will take a longer time period to get everything sorted and completed.

What is project management? Managing your project is a form of applying your knowledge and research into sections to make sure it overall runs smoothly. Therefore, you receive your final outcome. Project management is the effect planning and running of a project, from the ideas point to the end product and evaluation. Planning requires an outline of the tasks, deadlines and milestones that will be required to manage the project efficiently. A project timeline schedule would need to be created for the creation of the media  product, to include: 1. Tasks that need to be done 2. Deadlines for each task 3.
