What is project management?

Managing your project is a form of applying your knowledge and research into sections to make sure it overall runs smoothly. Therefore, you receive your final outcome.

Project management is the effect planning and running of a project, from the ideas point to the end product and evaluation.

Planning requires an outline of the tasks, deadlines and milestones that will be required to manage the project efficiently.

A project timeline schedule would need to be created for the creation of the media  product, to include:

1. Tasks that need to be done2. Deadlines for each task3. Milestones within the tasks and the overall project

Gantt chart- designed by mechanical engineer Henry Gantt in 1910, the Gantt chart has had a relatively long run as a project management tool. A Gantt chart uses horizontal bars to illustrate project completion dates, progress, and milestones and dependencies.

Workflow tool- Split by team member so that it is clear who is doing what, when. 

Work flow objective- Build common understanding of processes and exceptions. Through comprehensive, searchable audit trails and visual representations of process history.

Risk management- Is the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risksachieve quality goals- Goal Characteristics. The goals and objectives a company defines under a qualitymanagement system have to be clear, achievable and measurable. A clear goal is one that addresses a specific objective from the company's strategic plan. It includes details of what employees have to do to achieve it.

    Your first paragraph is not correct - replace it with this: Project management is a job role to ensure a process is in place and followed in order to achieve the objectives of the project. A project manager may use a number of different tools to do this.
