OK Go Questions

  1. What is the purpose of the music video?  To advertise a car to make people want to purchase it and to create a new form of audiovisual art.
  2. Who is it sponsored by? Chevrolet an American family friendly car brand.
  3. Why did Ok GO agree to this? What is their view on music video? They want to make videos to please their virtual audience.
  4. Which companies have sponsored OK GO’s work so far? Samsung, Land Rover and State Farm Insurance have all taken part sponsoring OK Go's work so far.
  5. How much sponsorship did they receive from the company? There is no official number, however it is somewhere between $5000000 and $1million. 
  6. What did the sponsorship buy? A couple of sonic cars and paid to modify one of the cars. The paid to set up the band in warehouse for 2 months and a MIT to set up the instruments. The bough all the instruments as well as the lead singer to go to a stunt driving school. And a large space of desert.
  7. Where was the filming location and how many separate location set ups did the production team need to create? The location was a remote cannon in the Mojave desert as well as it being one separate location set up.

  1. Emma, this is an A level equivalent subject - you must develop your responses so that they contain the appropriate level of detail and are in full sentences. Question 7 has not been completed properly - it is a two part question.

    This level of effort is not what is expected. When we talked in class you were given verbal feedback on these posts and assured me that you would be completing them.

What is pre production? Pre production- the process of research and planning the production.
