TV advertising

This blog post is based on TV adverts and how they are used to publicise and promote companies.

TV Advertisement- A TV advertisement is the activity or profession of producing advertisements for commercial products or services on TV.

An advertisement film (variously called a television commercial, commercial or ad in American English, and known in British English as a TV advert or simply an advert) is a span of television programming produced and paid for by an organisation, which conveys a message, typically to market a product or service. For example a Tv advert for ASOS may be advertised during the breaks of a TV show, this way a lot of people see the advert and go onto the website. Local television stations typically charge from £200 to £1,500 to create a 30-second commercial. National commercials produced by an advertising agency cost far more, averaging £342,000 for a 30-second spot in 2008, according to the American Association of Advertising Agencies.
